In Mint Condition. Made of fine bone china. Old Charley represents a night watchman who originated during the reign of Charles II and was named after him. The "Charlie's" as they were called would call out "10 o"clock and all's well." They were eventually replaced by the modern day policemen in the early 1800's. Vintage 1970's.

However, his prey, the fox, has won this round as you can see the fox is on his shoulder. Vintage 1959.
