In Excellant condition. Copyrighted in 2005. The original edition copyrighted in 1999. The USA was in a post- depression state and was in desperate need of something that would bring it out of the black and white books era. It came in the form of Gil Elvgreen's technicolor fantasies of this American dream. As the USA continued to plunge into the war, Elvgreen was providing the troops with pin-up gilrs galore. His special technique involved photgraphing the models. Then he would paint them into gorgeous hyper-reality pictures with longer legs, more hair, and bouncy busts. Thus in the process making the girls the perfect eye-candy that boosted the morals of every homesick private. .
